What information we collect
Newsletter subscriptions
If you subscribe to the CuriousPaw newsletter, we collect your email address. That is the only personal information we ask for. We use it to send you the newsletter and nothing else.
Contact form submissions
If you send us a message through the contact form, we collect your name, email address, and the content of your message. We use this to reply to you. Messages are processed through Formspree and subject to their privacy policy.
Analytics
We use analytics tools to understand how our content is used — which articles are read, how long people spend on pages, and where visitors come from. This data is anonymised and aggregated. We do not track individual users across the internet.
Cookies
This website uses cookies for basic functionality and analytics. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some site features may not work correctly without them.
What we do not do
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your email address with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not use your data to build profiles or target you with advertising. We do not send emails about anything other than what you signed up for.
Third-party services
CuriousPaw uses a small number of third-party services to operate:
- Formspree — processes contact form submissions
- Google Analytics — provides anonymised traffic data
- Hostinger — hosts the website
Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.
Your rights
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to request its correction, and to request its deletion. To exercise any of these rights, please use the contact form and we will respond within 30 days.
If you have subscribed to the newsletter, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any newsletter email.
Data retention
Newsletter email addresses are retained for as long as you remain subscribed. Contact form submissions are retained for up to 12 months. Analytics data is retained in anonymised form.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will note the update date at the top of this page. Continued use of CuriousPaw after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
